New leadership team at YWAM Burtigny

A new leadership team was installed on January 22, in the presence of representatives from various YWAM bases and ministries in French-speaking Switzerland. The Burtigny base, which recently celebrated its 45th anniversary, has a long history. It began in Lausanne when God told Loren Cunningham (our founder) that He would give him a farm! A farm in French-speaking Switzerland! What a joke! At first, some people in French-speaking Switzerland laughed, thinking that these YWAMers were really dreamers! Had anyone ever heard such a story in this country: giving away a farm? And yet, a few months later, YWAM Burtigny was born and the sweet dreamers settled down to continue dreaming God's dreams from this very spot.

Over the decades until today, different teams have succeeded one another in this structure: some focusing on the French-speaking world and Africa, others on communication, business, education and agriculture. Rich in this heritage, here is a new multi-generational team of dreamers, with Julien, Debbie, Claudia and Jean-Christophe. Two men and women both dreamers and dedicated to seeking the reign of King Jesus! (Mat 6:33)
