Since February 2025, YWAM Lausanne has been investing in the parish of Bulle by offering a fortnightly discipleship course on five Friday evenings, for the 2nd year running. It's a discipleship course focusing on different aspects of Jesus' life, with a view to learning how to follow him, and the practical implications for our daily lives. The themes this year are: Who Jesus is, who he invites to follow him, and how our identities are shaped by our relationship with him. The desert, and the habit of isolating ourselves to seek him out and develop our relationship with him. How to listen to him and get to know him better. His Lordship over every aspect of our lives: true repentance, renouncing our rights and idols. Witness and evangelism as a way of life. New life and walking in the Spirit.
This year, some 30 people took part, compared with around 20 the previous year. The feedback was very positive, with participants discovering God in a more concrete way and being renewed in their Christian walk. Pastor Gérard Stauffer is also very encouraged, and participates enthusiastically.
YWAM Lausanne is growing in its desire to serve and support the body of Christ, and if your community would like to benefit from a tailor-made partnership in discipleship or Bible study, please contact Noé Conrad (noe.conrad@ywamlausanne.com) who will work with you to create a concrete project to accompany your church in its current season.
